Sept ans après le colloque BFUP 2017 qui s’est tenu à Montpellier sous l’égide de la fib et de l’AFGC et a fait le point sur le savoir-faire et les applications réalisées avec les Bétons Fibrés à Ultra-Hautes Performances (BFUP), force est de constater que les projets et les constructions utilisant les BFUP ont connu une nette montée en puissance tant en Europe qu’en Amérique du Nord, au Japon ou en Australie.

Seven years after the 2017 Ultra-High Performance Fiber Concrete (UHPFRC) conference held in Montpellier, under the auspices of fib and AFGC, focused on the know-how and applications carried out with UHPFRC, it is clear that projects and constructions using UHPRFCs have experienced a marked increase in Europe, in North America and in Asia.

L’objectif du Colloque International de 2024 est de faire le point sur les compléments d’expérience acquise dans la connaissance et l’utilisation des BFUP :

Conception de structures, d’éléments et d’ouvrages
Rénovation et réparation de structures
Réalisation industrielle
Applications à grande échelle.

The objective of the 2024 UHPFRC International Symposium is to update additional experience acquired in the knowledge and use of UHPFRCS:

design of structures, elements and works
retrofitting and repair of structures
industrial realization
large-scale applications.

Le colloque présentera les réalisations concrètes les plus récentes tant en génie civil, en bâtiment que dans le domaine des équipements et infrastructures, en construction neuve et en réhabilitation.

Il fera le point sur les recherches, réglementations, normes élaborées au niveau international pour faciliter la conception, justifier la sécurité et la fiabilité des structures.

The symposium will present the most recent concrete realizations in civil engineering, building and in the field of equipment and infrastructure, in new construction and rehabilitation.

It will deal with researches, regulations and standards developed at the international level to facilitate the design, justify the safety and the reliability of structures.

Il détaillera les performances offertes par ces matériaux sur le plan environnemental : utilisation dans le domaine de l’écoconception, économie des ressources, durabilité, diminution des émissions de gaz à effet de serre, analyse du cycle de vie…

It will detail the performance offered by these materials towards environment: use in the field of eco-design, saving of resources, durability, reduction of greenhouse gas emissions, life cycle analysis, etc.

Les trois jours seront consacrés à des présentations en séance plénière sur les thèmes suivants :

Applications et réalisations en BFUP : Génie Civil et Bâtiments,
Codifications, Réglementations, Normalisations,
Volet environnemental : bas carbone, économie des matériaux, recyclage, éco-conception

Une session spéciale étudiants « ma solution BFUP » sera organisée afin de favoriser la connaissance et l’utilisation des BFUP par les nouvelles générations appelées à déployer davantage les innovations constructives au service d’un patrimoine bâti plus durable et plus responsable.

The three days will be devoted to the presentation in plenary session and parallel technical sessions of the following topics:

Applications and achievements in UHPFRC: Civil Engineering and Buildings,
Codifications, Regulations, Standardizations,
Environmental aspect: decarbonization, saving materials, recycling, eco-design

A special student session “my UHPFRC solution” will be organized in order to promote the knowledge and the use of UHPFRC by new generations called to further develop constructive innovations in the service of a more sustainable and more responsible built heritage.

Informations pratiques

Le colloque aura lieu à Menton du 21 au 23 octobre 2024. Des visites techniques optionnelles (réalisations en BFUP) seront prévues durant le colloque. Les articles seront rédigés en anglais. Les présentations orales seront faites en anglais. Les actes seront édités sous format numérique par l’AFGC.

The symposium will be held in the Palais de l’Europe in the city of Menton (close to Nice) from October 21 to 23, 2024. A technical visit of UHPFRC applications in Monaco and on The French Riviera will be organized during the symposium. The papers will be written in English and the oral presentations will be given in English. The proceedings will be edited in digital format by AFGC.

The official language is English.
